Sorry I haven't made more time to update this blog, but if you'd like to see more frequent updates, just add me as a friend on Facebook. I update that all the time. =)
Quick Update~
Kori is growing so fast.. cruisin' & learning more and more each day- it's so much fun!
She's a little over 15 pounds & still in the 75 percentile for length/height. She says "Mama" all the time, and we're trying to get her to turn "Ba Bah" into "Papa!"
She loves to bounce, and we're working on her walking skills to prepare her to be Cindy and Michael's flower girl for their wedding in June!
Life is good, and we have so much to be thankful for- even in this recession! Let's all take this opportunity to clearly see what's most important. We all are blessed with so much!

Finally......an update!! =)
At the end of July I graduated from the KSU Masters of Early Childhood Ed. Program, and I'm so glad to be done!
Kori weighs 13.5 lbs and is 27 in long. She's still as adorable and mellow (like her father) as ever. She's rolling a lot, and we love when she does her little "monkey attack" and hugs us as she gets passed.
Kori loves her silly Lola....

Kori's 2 Month Check Up
Kori is now 10 lbs 4 oz, (25-50th %tile) and 23 in long (75-90th %tile). Today she had 4 shots and an oral vaccine (5 vaccines total) and took them like a CHAMP! (She air-cried, terrified, for a bit, I blew in her face to get her to start breathing again, then she stopped crying and looked surprised and confused. I cuddled her a lot, and she has been sleeping ever since! She's my little tough girl! I was so proud of her this morning.
Surprise!!!
We woke Kyle up with some loud knocks, and he thought maybe it was housekeeping, so he said, "No thank you!" He got up anyway and looked through the peephole and saw a baby carrier, opened the door and mouthed, "Is that a baby?" (He saw the camera after a bit, too,
so he knew something was up...)
We enjoyed a wonderful family weekend in Birmingham, and on Sunday afternoon, Kyle got another surprise. We went to eat at Ruby Tuesdays and "ran into" Kyle's mom, their best family friend, Bill, and my parents! =D Kyle said this weekend was the greatest surprise of his life. =)
He will return home in three weeks and will be home for good in the beginning of August.

Kori's smile!! =)
I'm SO happy to announce that Kori can now smile on purpose!!! =) We cannot WAIT til she laughs for the 1st time...
Kori has also found her thumb! I have mixed feelings about that, and I've decided I'm going to try and prevent her from sucking her thumb. Ha! Any advice about that is surely welcome.
