Labor & Delivery
After school, around 4PM on Thursday, in between tutoring and class (masters), I started feeling mild contractions. I figured these were finally the Braxton Hicks "practice" contractions since I had never felt any before and was not diolated at all at this point. After class, Kyle, my parents, and I went to my Grandmother's house for dinner, and the contractions continued getting more and more intense and regular. Around 2:30AM, we left for Northside hospital. They administered an epidural, and I was in comfortable labor until 7:03AM, when baby Kori arrived!! (Yea, those epidurals are pretty amazing!)
The hospital stay was very nice, and the Northside staff was great. Thank you so much to all of our sweet visitors and to everyone who was keeping us in their thoughts and prayers during this very special time.
