Random Update...

Kori weighs 12 pounds today! =) We are very much enjoying Kyle being home for this week-long break, and we can't wait til he can be home for good Aug. 2nd!!!

Jae's Visit

My wonderful host-mom from New Zealand, Jae, visited! We had a great time catching up and exploring the new World of Coca-Cola and dinner at the Marietta Fish Market. I think I want to name my next daughter Sofia Jae, which means "wise & happy," and she'll go by Jae. =)

Kori & Augustus

Kori was born April 3rd, and Kris and Jenna (above right) visited us at the hospital on the 4th. A few hours later, we got a text from Kris saying that Jenna's water had broken! =) Augustus North was born on April 5th weighing 7 lbs 7.7 oz!

Kamilla's 1st Birthday Party!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, KAMILLA!!!

Today, Traci and B threw a fun, 'wet & wild', Tinkerbell party for our beautiful niece.

Crafty Auntie Renee made Kamilla and Kori these adorable fairy
dresses! We took as many pictures as they would allow, of course!

Kori's 2 Month Check Up

Kori is now 10 lbs 4 oz, (25-50th %tile) and 23 in long (75-90th %tile). Today she had 4 shots and an oral vaccine (5 vaccines total) and took them like a CHAMP! (She air-cried, terrified, for a bit, I blew in her face to get her to start breathing again, then she stopped crying and looked surprised and confused. I cuddled her a lot, and she has been sleeping ever since! She's my little tough girl! I was so proud of her this morning.

Surprise!!!

We woke Kyle up with some loud knocks, and he thought maybe it was housekeeping, so he said, "No thank you!" He got up anyway and looked through the peephole and saw a baby carrier, opened the door and mouthed, "Is that a baby?" (He saw the camera after a bit, too,
so he knew something was up...)

We enjoyed a wonderful family weekend in Birmingham, and on Sunday afternoon, Kyle got another surprise. We went to eat at Ruby Tuesdays and "ran into" Kyle's mom, their best family friend, Bill, and my parents! =D Kyle said this weekend was the greatest surprise of his life. =)

He will return home in three weeks and will be home for good in the beginning of August.
