I'm SO happy to announce that Kori can now smile on purpose!!! =) We cannot WAIT til she laughs for the 1st time...

Kori has also found her thumb! I have mixed feelings about that, and I've decided I'm going to try and prevent her from sucking her thumb. Ha! Any advice about that is surely welcome.

My First Mother's Day!

First, Lola (my Mama) and I woke up early to walk in Chastain Park for the Walk to Empower Breast Cancer fundraiser with good friends Ashley Sandvick, Alice & Martha Frangione. Pop (my Dad) was excited to stay home and not have to play tug-o-war with my mom over Kori. ;) 

Then, we cooked fettecini together for the Nardiello's Mothers' Day Get-together at Mama Jeanne's house and celebrated there for the rest of the evening... a great day!!!

Kori, Kori, Bo-Bori...

At one month, Kori is 8.14 lbs (5oth percentile) and 22 1/2 inches (90th %) long. She's a very good baby which is great because Mommy is trying to write a research paper in between feedings, changings, play/cuddle times, and chores. Thank goodness for Pop and Lola (Tagalog for "Grandma") coming by often!! 

Kori has a strong little neck and hand grip. During "Tummy Time," her legs try to crawl fast, but her head and chest act like an anchor; it's hilarious! She seems to study things and people with her eyes, and her current favorite songs are Somewhere Over The Rainbow, You Are My Sunshine and Jack Johnson's "Angel."
